I've been watching a lot of Bugs Bunny lately, and I've noticed two things. Dave Chapel definitely takes a lot of his comedy from Bugs Bunny, (at least I noticed it when I thought back to some of his bits that I've seen. Mostly stand up stuff, not the skits as much) and that Barbie is still alive. Holy shit. More specifically about Barbie, a commercial I was just watching really got me thinking about all of those Barbie houses you can buy for the price of an extra 12 Barbies.
I never really challenged the thought before, and I guess I'm not really challenging it right now either, but why is playing house so exciting for kids? I just watched this one Barbie commercial, where it was showing off all the special features that the house had. Washing and drying machines that actually spin, stairs that you can actually climb (I didn't really catch that one, I think you placed your Barbie on it and they moved and carried her up the stairs or some magic witchcraft like that). As well as a toilet that actually flushes. Really? Really? I mean... What? I can't really imagine little kids playing with their Barbies in the house and, oops! Malibu Barbie needs to tinkle! Be right back (insert other Barbie name here) .... .... .... Flush. All better!
Another Christmas toy that startled me slightly was one of those real life babies. I can't remember the name of it, but I remember sitting on the couch, looking at both the laptop and the tv at the same time and suddenly I see a stream of water fire out of this fake baby's (who was laying on a changing table) special area. And I really mean it, it fired out. Now, I don't remember being a baby, and I have never changed a baby, but if a baby can really urinate with that amount of force, chalk up another reason to why I fear children.
In other news, the break is reminding me how much school helps me keep on a semi-regular eating and sleeping schedule. As well as gives me something to do with myself, besides work.

Hey, look at that!
Sorry about that earlier. I was trying to find a way to make Anthropology, which really should be more interesting then it is, not extremely boring today. Sadly, I failed as I was looking at an online t-shirt store for about fifty minutes instead. Maybe we'll give it another crack on Wensday. I'm not promising anything, though!
Anyways, I wanted to upload a little something(s) on here.
Quality on this one is not 100% but there's nothing really distinguishing that you really need to see. It started as five black dots, and a bit of fiddling with Photoshop and you've got yourself some pretty funky looking circles. I titled it "Frost" since it looks a bit like frost on a window... In a circular pattern.

This little dude is the Metallic Parasite, and I can't remember for the life of me how I made it. I'm pretty sure that it started off as one dot that I just started messing around with, and when I metallasized it, it turned into this creepy little bugger. I'm pretty fond of the little guy.

Title
Things may finally be starting to calm down a bit, just in time for the winter weather and the Christmas season. It'll be good to have a break for a while, though I'll probably be wishing was busier again soon, that's usually how things work, right? Ah well, it'll be nice! I don't even mind the cold that much right now, it's not unbearable yet.
Things with the show are going smoothly, for the most part. I'm not exactly sure, but we've done about ten or so, and the response has been consistently positive! Which is slightly surprising, because I was not sure how the kids were going to take it. Sure, they do laugh at inappropriate times sometimes, but they're kids... I mean, this play is for them, so I like to think that we can at least get our message out to them so that they may not think about it at first, but the idea that they can prevent events like the ones that happened in the play, just by talking to their friends, family, anyone.
I'll write something more interesting next time, I swear I will. I've got a few things I want to be working on soon, so hopefully I'll be able to update you on that. A video game, as well as an idea for something perhaps drawn or video taped. Also, Chris and I are always up to all kinds of awesome, so you'll be hearing about that soon too!

Ho Hum
Things are quiet. Too quiet. That's a cliche, isn't it? Is that the right word I'm looking for? It's feeling rather cliche-ish right now. I don't like it. It's really offsetting.
No new word on Chris and his coffee adventures yet, but know that as soon as he takes his next sip of coffee, I'll bring word of the results. Unless I'm not there when it happens, then we're both up the creek without a paddle. Or a canoe for that matter, or a creek. Wait... Chris would be the creek... and coffee the canoe... the paddle would be us....
Whoa.... Give me a second here.

University Brings Out the Best in Us!
Have you ever watched someone on TV, on a game show for example, and just wished with all the willpower you could muster that they would fail miserably? And when they did, did you ever feel a bit bad about it, like you had something to do with it? Well assuming you said yes, boy do I have a story for you.
A little background information, my friends Chris, Alex and I all go to the same university. Chris and I happen to have the same first class in the mornings, followed by a spare where we usually hang out with Alex one of the cafeterias. Now today, we were sitting in this cafeteria, minding our own business, when Alex spots a kid through the window he was facing, which faced the nearby street. This kid was running on the division between the two parts of the road, which looked basically like a curb in the middle of the street. "That kid is going to die" says Alex with a laugh, to which Chris and I turned to look as well. "Yeah, he's going to get hit" I say in the same humorous tone. The, together, we chanted the seconds to the kid's doom.
"Three"
"Two"
"One"
Then it happened. Suddenly right before a car passes in front of our field of view we see the kid jump into the street, only to be hit by a car. We were instantly dumbfounded and shocked as we watched a man step out of the car, approach the kid, talk to him and bring him into the car, hopefully to take him home, or to a hospital... The kid seemed fine, that's what I want to get clear as crystal. We didn't kill the poor kid we just... Well I'm not entirely sure what we did, but I am a little scared of our collective willpower now, thanks to that.
Another interesting happening of the day, and something that I hope will be a regular update around here is... Caffeinated Chris! Yes our good friend Chris has decided to drink coffee. Now I'm not entirely sure how long this will go on for, but I intend to keep you up to date with information regarding Chris and how his new beverage is effecting him! Now, I took a few notes on Chris today, and his "first" cup of coffee.
Chris' Coffee for today was...
The Caramel Biscotti (Mild)
Me: "How does the coffee taste?"
Chris: "It was somewhat bitter."
Then Chris started to talk about how the taste could grow on them, comparaing it to heroin. This raised further questions, but that would be a different day, different experiment. Different intervention.
Me: "How often do you expect to have a coffee after this?"
Chris: "Whenever I feel like I need it."
He then went on to talk about how he usually has 7am - 2am days and that coffee would probably be able to help him keep his energy up throughout his entire day. Also, he mentioned that it could be a university enhancer as well as increase performace during band practice. I'm not sure if the underlying drug joke only came up for me or not there. He also claimed that he would be able to save Justine (another one of our university friends, who took Alex's seat when he went to class) from stray soccer balls, which leads me to believe that he is either gaining superhuman powers, is delirious from... caffine? Or he was trying to tell me he wants to play goalie for us in indoor soccer this year. Then things started to frighten me slighly.
Suddenly Chris claimed that it would increase his immune system, and that he should start smoking as well, to become a good writer. Also, apparently he would have to hide scotch away in his house. I'm starting to think that coffee is perhaps a gateway beverage, leading on to bigger and more dangerous libations! Being scared of changing as a person as well as being mocked and wethere he will care or not, were things he was afraid of happening to him (I mean come on, who likes those crazy people who drink coffee, amirite?)
While I was taking notes, I noticed Chris exclaim...
Chris: "I'm adorable!"
Things took a turn for the lighter (less adorable) side of the force when I asked him...
Me: "Do you feel any different then before you started to drink this single coffee?"
He told me he felt more energized, more active. Great! Sounds like a regular reaction to coffee for me! Then he told me he felt the sudden urge to punch Justine in the face, really hard. He was also afraid of the urge to murder if he drank too much, which actually makes sense if you think about it. If he was about half-way through his coffee when he said he wanted to punch her in the face, I can't imagine what happened to him later on that day. Chalk another reason for me to not start drinking coffee on the board.
Justine: "You don't want to kill me, Chris"
Chris: "I don't want to, but I will!"
It was easy to see that Chris was getting irritable, as he started claiming that he could do "Whatever he wants" and even started to physically restrain Justine from reaching over the table. Reaching for salvation from Chris' jittery, homicidal, caffenated attacks was my guess, but I wasn't paying attention. I had just ordered volume one and two of LoXG. I can't remember exactly what he said, but in my notes there is something about threatening with circles and lines, which leads me to believe Chris' super caffenated energy must have lead him to creating a new way of killing people, via geometry.
And that was about it for Chris' first day on coffee! See you next time, viewers! Maybe we'll have a dead body or two on our hands! If anyone asks, I was here the entire time.

It's a Beautiful Day!
So why am I inside? This doesn't really make any sense to me, but I think I'm going to lose my mind if I don't leave this place soon. Summer is almost over already and I think this might be one of the only enjoyable days that we're going to have here.... So I have to go make the most of it. I'm not exactly sure, myself, how I'm going to seize the day, but it will be seized!
Nothing much when it comes to new news, the Fringe Fest has already started and I haven't checked out any of the shows yet. I suppose I still feel a little angry that I missed all of the auditions that there were, as I A) Had no idea when they were and B) I'm apparently not very versed in actually finding auditions. Maybe I'll eventually check something out, I'm sure it's worth it!
On a different note, me and some of my Blogger buddies are all writing short stories for a "Short Story Club" and I just want to put this out there, in case any of them are reading this right now.... When are we doing this?
Anyways, I'm getting a bit too restless, so I'm going to attempt an adventure of sorts.

Short Update
I just figured I would give a small "shout out" to some friends who also have their own little blog;
The Things Beneath the Fridge and The Timely Howard
So, go and look! Do it now, quickly! Give me some time to think about something to write about on here!
This may take a while...

Follow Up
I feel slightly ashamed... Coming back here after so long, with my tail between my legs... I would like to have an excuse, and I could say I've been busy but that would be a slight lie. I have been busy, but there's always time for Slices of Cake Inc.
You should see the offices though. Personally, I had no idea interns could survive off coffee grinds, expired vending machine chocolate and those little yellow sticky notes for a month. Smart little buggers.
On a brighter note, I'm going to be in a web-based commercial for a local teen outreach program called Youthspk, or something like that... I won't give too much away, but I'm supposed to be a drug addict pressuring other people to do drugs. Apparently it's the cool thing to do, and lord knows I want to be cool. Maybe I'm getting the message the commercial is getting across wrong, though. Anyways, I'll try to link it here as soon as I can. Seriously though, these series of commercials are trying to help kids relate to this program, and hopefully they will make a difference with the kids who need help.
Surfing the internets yesterday, I came across this picture that just felt right. You know the feeling, when you see something that is simply perfect for something that's been lying in the back of your mind. I'd like to add that I don't take any sort of credit for the picture, all I did was crop it a bit. So, I present you with a picture of what my idea of what The Players would look like.

It's been a while, I know, but I haven't been able to really think of anything worthwhile to say on the blog. Lately all the writing I've been doing has revolved around a little project that I've been working on for a little while now, using a program called "RPG Maker 2003". As you can probably tell, it's a program for making Role Playing Games on the computer. It's pretty user friendly, though there are newer versions of it out now that seem far better, the only problem is that I've used up my 30 day trial for one of them, and the other... well I can't figure out why, but it stops downloading at around 89% every time I try. So 2003 will have to do for now, and I don't mind, it's still a pretty sweet program.
Personally, I think that Video Games are a great way to portray a story, and some of them do an amazing job of bringing you into it. Allow me to give you a couple examples of games I thought were very well done when it comes to story and bringing the player into the game.
Shenmue I & II (Dreamcast and Xbox, in that order) - I was introduced to the Shenmue games a while ago, when I first bought my Dreamcast. I can't remember why I bought it, when I bought it, or where I bought it (I'm assuming Microplay) but I do remember my "older brother" Justin saying something like "Oh, you won't like that game, you'll probably think it's too boring", but I bought it anyways and never regretted it since. I can't really describe the genre of the game... It's a mix of adventure, puzzle solving, mystery, and a bit of acting and fighting. The story is focuses on a young Japanese man named Ryo Hazuki, who's father (a martial artist who created the Hazuki style of fighting, which Ryo is a student of) is murdered at the beginning of the story by a mysterious martial artist named Lan Di, apparently a past acquaintance of Ryo's father. The rest of the story plays out as Ryo swears to find out who Lan Di is and extract revenge on him, a story which by the second game is still not finished. From what I've heard, a long time ago, it was originally supposed to be about 5 games long... from what I can remember.
The story is really great, but the best parts are this game is the freedom, exploration, and interaction that it gives you, especially in the second game. As you walk around the town, or city, you see people walking up an down the streets doing their daily routines, going on walks, shopping, eating, playing at the arcade... I seem to have it a block write now, so I can't explain everything as well as I want to, but the game does an amazing job at making you feel as if you are living out Ryo's life, you can speak to passers by on the street, work, play games, eat, get into fights, gamble, sleep, buy little miniature Sega toys from those machines you see everywhere, buy pop from a drink machine, examine so many different little objects around you... It's really one of my favorite games, and I supposed how I can understand how people don't like it, or may think that it's slow... While it does have it's action, there are huge spaces where all you do is walk around the city/town, which doesn't bother me at all, with all the things you can do in it.
Perhaps today wasn't a good day to start writing on here again. I'm going to head off now, probably take a nap before I take a bus downtown for rehearsal. My last wisdom tooth is coming in, and it's at the part where it's just about to push through my gum, but it doesn't hurt. All it does is swell my gum so it's very irritating to do basically anything on the left side of my mouth right now. Fun fun, I wonder if I will have to get them removed?

Forbidden Blood
Hey again readers! Player One here, at Slices of Cake! Were you expecting someone else? I hope not, I wouldn't want to bore you so intensely that you would begin to think of your own imaginary blog writers! That's just ridiculous, and besides... Those imaginary writers and I have never really seen eye to eye. Mostly because they aren't real and I can't really... See their eyes.
It's been pretty quiet here at Slices of Cake Inc... The phone rug today, but it was a false alarm. I was also reminded of my inability to give blood to anyone in North America. Long story short, because I lived in England for more than 3 months when I was about... a couple months old, from what I can remember (which is nothing at all), I can't give blood because of the whole mad cow scare they had over there. The woman who was screening me told me that I may carry the Mad Cow in my blood, and I could transfer it to someone else if I gave them my blood. If I had it, which, I'm pretty sure, I don't. But what do I know about my blood. Nothing, apparently. She also mentioned something along the lines of "If you do carry it, it could show up in your system in the future" as in I may come down with Mad Cow eventually.... Or something. Goodie. If they don't want my blood, so be it.
The funny thing about that story is that I have given blood previously, and on the previous screening I wasn't stopped at all, even though I had filled the from in the same way as I had previously. Hmm... I suppose it isn't as funny as it is confusing... and possibly very, very, alarming.
To sum it up, I'm not suffering from the aids, so please don't worry. Slices of Cake Inc is still running like a well oiled machine! But we're not "All work and no play" here, oh no! We (me) had a, "Pants: Optional" day last week. Feedback was pretty good and I plan to have it again soon. I've never really been a fan of wacky tie day, it always ends the same way. Two people end up coming with the same, guitar necktie and the results are not pleasant. Coffee flies, cover sheets are converted into airplanes, staplers are misused, outside food and/or drink is brought inside and some one always makes an improperly placed office joke. The whole ordeal is extremely unpleasant... and it really makes me wonder what I really have against wacky tie days. Maybe I should give it a shot, I had second guesses about Pants: Optional day, but I've never regretted it since.

Lesson Learned
I'm finding as things are finally starting to settle down, I'm getting more and more stressed out. The main cause of this... are books!
A friend from university and I took out a few books from the school's library and later on that day I found that I no longer had any use for them. My friend said that he still might have use for them, so I said he could borrow them as long as he returned them on time. That was the big mistake I made that day. About a month later, and I get an email from the library, telling me that I have overdue books.
Shit
After looking at the library's website, and failed attempts at trying to renew the already overdue books, I have found out that I am probably going to have to play a significant amount of money for these damn things I didn't even use in the first place. Oh happy day! Now I dread the day I have to walk up to the librarian, my tail between my legs, and explain my situation. Obviously, the first thing that she/he will tell me is "Well you shouldn't have let your friend borrow the books in the first place". Then I'll nod, apologize and pray that these books aren't worth that much. And yes, I have tried to get a hold of my friend, but I haven't received any word from him yet, and last I checked with him he said he returned them. Chances are I'm going to have to pay this fine, and hopefully he might help out with the charge.
On a positive note though, I'm apparently going to go watch some jazz tonight, so that'll probably help the nerves quite a bit.

Alive and Well
Well, that last week of horribly long nights which consisted of work I could have done months before has finally finished. Huzzah! Now I'm back in the saddle... I suppose, though I've almost gotten my fill of writing from that last week... But there is important information to discuss!
Some of you, though probably not many of you, may know a few things about the live action Akira movie that has apparently been in the planning. For those of you who don't know, Akira is a great anime co-written by Katsuhiro Otomo (who also wrote that magna the movie was based off of). It was regarded by some critics as one of the greatest animated movies ever made, and it really is a great movie. It's set in the post-apocalyptic future of Tokyo, 2019 to be specific, and stars Shotaro Kaneda and Tetsuo Shima. In 1988, Tokyo was destroyed by what seemed like an atomic blast, and Neo-Tokyo now stands on an artificial island and is where the movie takes place. Teens Kaneda, the leader of a biker gang, and Tetsuo, his best friend, have ambushed a couple of rival gang members. Something happens and Tetsuo is injured... But that's all I will say for now, because if you don't know what happens then you probably haven't seen the movie. Which you should. Right now. Before you read on. Do it.
Now, like I said before, you may have heard about the plans to make a live action Akira movie. You may have seen some Kanye West video that apparently recreated the bike race scene in it. Either way, something is apparently going down, and I have to say I'm a little excited. The first news I heard from it a while ago was that Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio (of all people) grabbed the rights to make the movie. "Oh dear" I thought "I had better gouge my eyes out now in advance" but I wasn't being very fair with it, I had a change of heart recently when I was thinking about it, and now I'm actually looking forward to it. Also, soon after the first news, I learned that DiCaprio is not only producing it, but also starring as the lead character Shotaro Kaneda. Personally, I can't really see that really working out in my opinion, but who knows. Then, a couple days ago, I found this. Joseph Gordon Levitt is playing Tetsuo. The kid from Angels in the Outfield! ...At least, I think it's that was him, I'm too lazy to go over and check to see if it is. From a recent photo of him shown on the linked site, I have to say that he does seem to look a bit more like his character than Leo, but still... Neither of them are Japanese, and I think there is going to be a lot of people complaining about that. Maybe a creative use of tape-to-eye will be one of the things that the make-up crew will use? Of course, that's politically incorrect, so I obviously didn't just suggest that at all.
Not only have they found actors for the two lead roles, but they apparently even have a director on board now too. Ruairi Robinson is his name, and he hasn't done anything major yet, besides a slew of interesting short films, but that shouldn't stop him from doing something big. I also want to remind all of you that I know that a lot of this is probably either old news (or even rumors), but I felt the need to share it with you, since not very many people even know about the possibility of the movie itself yet.
So, to get away from all of that business... I have painfully remembered the reason for which I do not enjoy to eat liver and onions. For some reason, I had the idea that I may have "grown into" the taste over the years, as I didn't like it when I was younger either. I actually used to pretend to like it as a child, because I was afraid I would hurt my dad's feelings if I didn't like it. So there I was, standing in my dad's kitchen, staring at this pile of liver on my plate. All I have to say is thank god my dad cooked bacon with it, or I would have had to survive on mashed potatoes and corn on the cob for the rest of supper. That's all well and good, and my dad is a great cook, but I was in the mood for animal. To sum it up, I still don't like liver and onions.
That's about it for me today, I think I'm going to go relax for a bit. Maybe I'll watch Akira tonight, it's been a while since I've watched it last. Take care.

Procrastination Rules the Nation
I don't really have much time to update at all this week, it's one of the few times a year my procrastination catches up with me. The next couple days will consist of panic, sudden flashes of rage, pathetic sobbing and then I'll slowly lose all sense of reality as I try to drink the contents of a glow stick.
I love this time of the year.
So wish me luck, I'll leave you with a neat YouTube video to tide you over.

Edit: I had to include this. That's a lot of effort to put into an April Fool's joke, probably a lot of money too.

Either Way, it's Cold.
Chris over in How'da be a Pimp already addressed this topic a little while ago, but recent events have encouraged me to further comment on it.
When I woke up this morning, it was snowing. That's fine though, that's been happening on and off for the past two weeks. Apparently we are getting a storm tonight, so it wasn't surprising when the snow started to come down almost horizontally. I was fine with all of this, but then something strange happened.
The snow changed.
Today, we watched the war between Spring and Winter as it switched from rain to snow as each side tried to take dominance over our city. At one point I saw it both rain and snow at the same time. It was at that point where I gave up, closed the blinds and retreated back into the depths of my house.

A Night's Post
I'm slowly trying to get my sleep schedule back in order, but something tells me this blog isn't going to help me overcome my bad habit of staying up much too late. But I'm not complaining, I can see myself having fun and exciting times on the blog.
Two and I had just recently seen a sneak preview for "Run Fat Boy, Run" with Simon Pegg (well known for Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz) and I enjoyed quite a bit. It didn't have the same feel as "Hot Fuzz" or "Shaun of the Dead", both of which were written by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright and directed by Edgar Wright, though it was still a good movie. Having actually stayed in my seat just long enough to catch the first bit of the credits, I noticed a familiar name noted as the director. David Schwimmer, or as many people would know him, Ross from friends. Apparently it was one of his first, if not his first, directing job, so good for him. He and Simon Pegg probably started to get the idea of working together after they both played in a movie that came out to dvd a couple months ago. A movie which I can't remember the name of. Also, something I found even more interesting, Simon Pegg wrote the screenplay with another familiar face. Micheal Ian Black wrote the screenplay with Simon Pegg! A lot of you probably don't know who he is, but he was a part of one of my favorite T.V. shows, "Stella". Which only had one season, but it was a damn fine season. Anyways, "Run Fat Boy Run" is a good comedy, while it has a bit of romance in it, it's not a romantic comedy. It has some great characters, some really funny moments but lacks a bit of the wit in Pegg's last couple of well known films. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a review, but I do thinks it's something you should check out. Just don't rush to the theaters to see it, it's probably more of a rental. Although I have to admit, there's just something about watching a comedy with a huge audience. The roaring laughter of the entire theater is something I actually enjoy quite a bit.
Also, I was talking to Two about the blog a bit. Hopefully he'll be able to get some posts on the site soon, but I'm still not sure how often he's going to be writing. We'll see, hopefully he'll be able to stay on board for a while. If not, that's alright, I can hold things down on my own pretty well.
For now, I'm out.

Finding a Purpose, and a Fifty Dollar Bill.
We here at Slices of Cake are still trying to find a purpose for this blog, but maybe that isn't the right word to use. Maybe we shouldn't even be thinking in that direction, we started this blog so we would have a place to write anything that came into our heads. Sure, we could have written on random sheets of paper or just on MS Word, but where's the fun in that? Also, in a blog, we can pretend that we actually have an audience reading what we are writing, and we can address them when we write our posts, like I am right now. Honestly, we are basically talking to ourselves right now, but we like to pretend that there's someone out there on the internets who is reading this right now and might be getting some sort of enjoyment from it. Hopefully it's not in the wrong way, but you never know these days. Who knows, some people may find words and improper grammar rather attractive. Personally I don't understand it, but some people don't understand why I enjoy eating kiwis whole, skin and all.
For now, I intend to use this space as an outlet for my need to get some daily writing down. Maybe some reviews here and there on games, movies, books, etc. I'll probably post some interesting news on here as well, stuff you would probably find from Kotaku or Digg (or something of the sort) most likely because that's where I found it myself. Who knows, maybe I'll find some things all on my own!
You've probably noticed how, in the first paragraph, I kept on using the word "we". That's because I've already been able to add another editor to the Slices of Cake crew, which will hopefully grow as the times goes by. PlayerTwo, (aka; Two, Dos, P2) joined up today, to which I'm pretty happy. I'm not sure how often he's going to be posting, or what he's going to be posting for that matter (haven't really cleared that up yet) but like I said, I'm glad to have another person on the team. There's room for more, if you want to join us here at Slices of Cake send an e-mail to Player-One@live.com and I'll try to get back to you ASAP. I'm not really worried I'm going to be swamped with e-mails, but I'm just putting it out there in case someone is actually interested at this point. Who knows, and don't be afraid to tell people you know about us, the more visitors the better.
I just realized I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm PlayerOne (aka; One, Uno, P1) and I felt the urge to start up this blog yesterday, although it's something I should have done a long time ago. There isn't really much else to say, I have a little makeshift profile so I wont bother writing down all my interests and whatnot. I will say most of the things I'm interested in will have an influence on the content, or at least my content, on Slices of Cake. That pretty much goes without saying. Hopefully I'll be able to get Two to start writing semi-regularly on the site too.
I'd like to say thanks to the guys at "How'da be a Pimp", mainly Chris, for helping me start this. Sure, it's really simple to start your own blog, but Chris gave me the inspiration for this blog, and by inspiration I mean the website for Blogger.com. Seriously though, you should go over there and check out their stuff, if you haven't already. Great times. Also, Bacon Vodka.
Well, that should wrap up everything I wanted to take care of in the actual opening post. A good thing to know, found money must be one of the greatest things in the world... After searching my sock drawer for some socks, I found an envelope with fifty dollars inside. It's not that great of an accomplishment, but for about two seconds I was on top of the world.
Oh, right, I almost forgot.... Man-Cannons in the new MGS online. This doesn't mean I'm urging you to run out and pre-order the new MGS (hell, I don't even have a PS3 yet, and don't really plan to yet) but... Come on.... Man-Cannons. The word(s) itself brings joy to my heart.

Open For Business
Technically, that is. If you think about it though, it's a bit like walking into a new restaurant with no seats, tables, waiters, or chefs. All you see is a lone man standing in the middle an empty room, handing out miniature bags of Salt and Vinegar chips. Tasty as they are, you can't eat too many before your mouth becomes numb and pasty.
So here's your bag of chips. Enjoy.
